Blessed Christmas!

God rest ye merry (ladies and) gentlemen, let nothing you dismay;
Remember CHRIST our Saviour was born on Christmas Day;
To save us all from Satan's power when we were gone astray,
O tidings of comfort and joy, comfort and joy,
O tidings of comfort and joy!

Blessed Christmas to all!

Today is a very important and significant day because we celebrate the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ. The word of God came to me today during praise and worship @ today's Christmas service. He said, "Many people do not invite Me to their Christmas meetings (or parties, celebrations etc). That's why they turn out so dry (lifeless)."

Unbelievable, isn't it? Who has ever heard of a birthday party where everyone is invited but not the Birthday Person Himself? Apparently that is just what has happened to our Lord Jesus.

In John 2:1-11, Jesus and His disciples were invited to a wedding celebration. When they ran out of wine, Jesus replenished them with the finest wine! (Isn't it like Jesus to be so generous?) The point is, when you invite the Lord to any event, He will make sure you never lack and also make it a joyous occasion!

So this Christmas, remember to invite Christ to His birthday celebration. Then and only then will you have a blessed and happy Christmas!

Happy Birthday, Jesus!

Post-STAND Camp

Shalom to you!

We arrived back in KL on the 18th after four days of fellowship with God and our beloved brothers and sisters in Narrowstreet. This year's camp was definitely much more relaxed than the previous years', so much so that we had about 5 hours of free time on Day 3! Our game groups also had very interesting names: Tatsu, Stehen, Aamad, Estando, Steko, Soda, Tollerera, Selever and last but not least Neerzetten.

This year our teams were asked to lug about for the duration of the camp something extremely fragile: raw eggs. Each team had 11 of them, and were expected to keep them all intact. On each egg was written: Ephesians 6:11. Alas, at the end of the camp only 1 team had all their eggs: Team Neerzetten.

All that aside, Pastor Sam Phun was AWESOME. (He performed some amazing magic tricks; the most impressive one was transforming some pieces of old magazines into SING. DOLLARS and back again.) Here are some of the most important things he said during the 4 sessions:

1) Romans 8:28- and we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.

2) When to enter into a relationship (very important!): "When you love God and have found your purpose in life."

3) We already have attention from God! We don't need attention from anyone else. Don't act cool, YOU ARE COOL!

4) Men must speak up for the truth.

5) Sow (time, talents and finances into the purpose of God) and you will reap.

He also taught us a new 'Yo! Whatsup!' sign: hold up your index, middle and ring fingers. Huh? What does that mean?

Answer: Father, Son, Holy Spirit!

Haha! Gotcha. Expect to see more of it in Narrowstreet @ SIBKL.

Best of all, many prayed the Sinner's Prayer for the first time and many others re-dedicated their lives to Jesus. On the last night, almost all the campers came forward and told God, "Here am I, send me!"

Lastly, please pray for Charles Stephen and Deloris Au Joey that they might come to Christ soon.

In Jesus' most precious name,
Agent Joshua L.

STAND camp

Shalom, everyone!

Yesterday we were briefed on our camp which begins tomorrow. At the end of it all, Keith asked us to try to come for the 5 pm service. Why? Because our senior pastor was going to pray for all of us and the camp! This year's camp is unprecedented: 152 campers altogether.

But I think that the second-best thing (the No.1 spot belongs to Jesus, of course) about this camp is the speaker, Ps. Sam Phun. The last time I listened to him, it completely turned my life around for the Lord. So I believe that on Thursday there will be some new saints in God's Kingdom.

For those of you who are not going for the camp, please pray for us and that many may come to know the Lord Jesus Christ.

In Jesus' name,

Agent Joshua L.

Cell Outing 15/11/2008

SHALOM, Dear Readers!
Agent Leon Lim here.
On a Saturday, 15th November '08, T.C.I.A organized a outing to Taman Megah.
Everyone rendezvous in Mosin (a mamak restaurant) just outside the Ground Floor entrance of SIBKL. Could tell everyone was excited about the trip. This would be our 1st cell outing so far, i think. Haha. We ate breakfast in Mosin, many of us had the usual different varieties of roti's, the Roti Bom was good! The reason because it was filled with butter, sugar and oil. LOL. Eat this everyday and you could die faster. XD

Dan Lo posing for the camera. :) Peace!
During this time, we were kinda waiting for JeeWang to arrive. Everyone was dilly-dalying for quite awhile until we decided to leave our second home, Mosin.

We were separated to 2 groups. The first group went by Dan Lo's car and the 2nd by Jeewang's car. I went by Jeewang's car. :) His Toyota Rush, was rather compfy. As we sat comfortably talking about stuff guys normally talk about.

In about 15 minutes, we reached Taman Megah, the entrance of I.N.C., a cyber cafe. There we met up with Wesley and Newton. We were indulging ourselves in Counter Strike and other games that I could not remember. Dan Lo aka. Speedy was one of the most aggresive players in CS. Haha.

About 2 hours later, after playing CS. We made it for the Taman Megah Futsal Centre where geared up ourselves for futsal. And again 2 teams were broken to Jeewang's team and Dan Lo's team. We played for 1 hour straight. I was the goalkeeper and I think I did quite good being one. :) Later, we had a break and went off to the near by food court and had lunch. Then, we head back to church, looking forward for Resonate. As some of us, like me, had usherer's briefing.

And this wraps up, our T.C.I.A. cell outing. Not only we had fun during this cell outing, but we strengthen our bond with each other and Jesus Christ. As we had faith in him in every second of this outing. We are very grateful that Jesus watched over us and was praying for us, as no injuries or serious accidents occured during this trip. GOD BLESS YOU, DEAR READER.

Signing off,
Agent Leon Lim.
~Cheers

Welcome!

Hey, ladies and gentlemen. We as the agents of T.C.I.A would like to give you a warm "WELCOME" to our blog.

Why "Teenage Christian in Action"?

First of all, this blog is existing because we believe in Jesus Christ, He is our Lord and Savior over our life. Through him, we are a small family in Christ.

We are longing to use our life to please God and without faith it is impossible to please God.

We believe and lay our foundation in the word of God because faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word of Christ.

Most importantly, just merely hearing the word of God is insufficient for faith without deeds is dead.

TALK IS CHEAP. We want to be part of God's plan to build His Kingdom and glorify His most precious name and to be His witnesses.

Once a again, we want to thank God to have this honor privilege to share our journey with you.

To God Be The Glory!!

Love,
Chief Officer DanLo
